FIRST INVESTORS CORPORATION CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
As a condition to gaining access to client information from the First Investors web site, I understand and agree that all such information, including but not limited to the names, addresses, phone numbers, account numbers and financial histories and profiles of clients, is the sole and exclusive property of First Investors Corporation, and is entitled to the status and protection of trade secrets. I also agree to keep such information confidential and not to divulge or reveal such information, directly or indirectly, during my affiliation with First Investors or at any time thereafter, to any competitor of First Investors, or any other third party who is not authorized by First Investors to receive such information. I further understand and agree that any breach of this Agreement will entitle First Investors to obtain injunctive and other equitable relief to prevent any further breach of this Agreement, and to prevent me from being unjustly enriched by the violation.

10/21/09: Congress has declared October 18-24, 2009 to be National Save for Retirement Week. Statistics have increasingly shown that Americans have inadequate retirement savings. Outside of employer-sponsored plans, most American workers save very little.
10/14/09: First Investors Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Kimberlee Kubski to the position of Division Manager of the Atlanta, Georgia sales office. The promotion took effect August 11, 2009.
10/7/09: First Investors Corporation is pleased to once again participate in Customer Service Week, a national effort to recognize the importance of customer service and the valuable role that it plays in organizations. Customer Service Week will take place October 5 – 9, 2009.
9/30/09: First Investors Management Company, Inc. (“FIMCO”) is pleased to announce that Rajeev Sharma has joined its portfolio management team. Mr. Sharma serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of the First Investors Investment Grade Fund and the First Investors Life Series Investment Grade Fund.
9/16/09: At the 2009 First Investors Cloud Club Convention in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Carrie Mullins and Anu Patel were inducted into the Gold Level of the First Investors Chairman’s Circle.
The First Investors Chairman’s Circle is a recognition program that honors lifetime career achievement. In order to be inducted into the Gold Level, a representative must have attained a specific number of points during the span of his or her career. To date, only eight current First Investors representatives have been inducted into the Gold Level of the Chairman’s Circle.
9/10/09: First Investors has again joined more than 100 companies and industry organizations to promote Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM), a public awareness campaign initiated by the LIFE Foundation to educate Americans about the value of life insurance protection.
9/2/09: As teachers return to the classroom this fall, First Investors Corporation is reminding them to educate themselves about their retirement options. One advantage public school employees have is the ability to open a 403(b) account to invest for their retirement. Contributions made to a traditional 403(b) will be deducted before taxes, and interest will grow tax deferred until the employee is ready to withdraw it.
8/26/09: At the annual First Investors Cloud Club Convention Awards Banquet on June 27, Senior Vice Presidents Cindy Bordeaux and Forrest Strickland were presented with the David D. Grayson Award in recognition of their contributions to First Investors Corporation. The Award, in honor of its namesake, recognizes both outstanding career achievement and strong personal character. Mr. Grayson joined First Investors in 1950, and served as President from 1968 until his death in 1994. There have been eight prior recipients of the award.
8/5/09: The 2009 First Investors Cloud Club Convention was a highlight of the year for many associates, but was particularly special for Senior Associate Louis Lombardi, who was attending the 50th Convention of his career.
It is widely believed that Lou Lombardi, whose official start date with First Investors Corporation was June 29, 1959, is the only person in First Investors' history to achieve such a record.
7/3/09: First Investors' top representatives and managers gathered at the annual Cloud Club Convention, June 25-28 at the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. For the First Investors sales organization, attendance at the Convention is perhaps the most anticipated reward each year. Representatives and managers have to meet set production goals in order to attend.
6/10/09: It's summertime, which means more hours of daylight, higher temperatures, cooking on the barbeque and trips to the beach. This summer, First Investors Corporation is also encouraging clients to “shore up” their savings and investment accounts by making regular contributions.
6/3/09: First Investors Corporation recently announced the members of the 2009 First Investors Chairman's Council. The 25 members were determined by their performance rankings for 2008-09.
The First Investors Chairman's Council is an exclusive group of top performers. This year, Gregory Steinmetz claimed the title of President of the 2009 Chairman's Council, repeating his superb performance from 2007-08. Rounding out the top three were Executive Vice President Patrick Sciarra and First Vice President Carrie Mullins.
5/28/09: On June 1, 2009, First Investors Life is unveiling an updated version of its Level Term Life Insurance product. The updated First Investors Life Level Term product offers new features and benefits. A new underwriting category, Preferred Plus, has been added, which gives the most insurable candidates the opportunity to benefit from First Investors Life's best term premium rates. Those purchasing a policy with a face amount over $250,000 will also benefit from even lower rates.
Overall, the re-priced First Investors Life Level Term product offers generally lower premiums across nearly all age and underwriting categories. Finally, the 20-year term policy has extended its issue age to 60, meaning more people can enjoy the benefits of First Investors Life Level Term.
5/20/09: The First Investors Insured Tax Exempt Fund II (EIITX) and the First Investors Insured Tax Exempt Fund (FITAX) were ranked first and fifth, respectively, in the long-term municipal bond fund category in the May issue of Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine.
